Dr. DeWal is a distinguished orthopedic surgeon with a rich educational background and extensive training in musculoskeletal research, neurosurgery, and orthopedic surgery of the spine. He earned his medical degree from SUNY Downstate Medical School and went on to complete his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at the Hospital for Joint Diseases, where he also pursued a fellowship in Musculoskeletal Research. Dr. DeWal further honed his expertise through a fellowship in Neurosurgery and Orthopaedic Surgery of the Spine at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.
As a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery and an active member of the North American Spine Society, Dr. DeWal is dedicated to advancing orthopedic and spine care through research, education, and clinical practice.
