Mikhail Zusmanovich, MD specializes in general orthopedics and sports medicine surgery, including hip, knee, and shoulder arthroscopy; internal fracture fixation; and general fracture care.
After graduating with honors from UC Santa Barbara, Dr. Zusmanovich attended medical school at the Keck School of Medicine at USC, where he earned Dean’s recognition and MSP recognition in Musculoskeletal Anatomy. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at NYU Langone Health in Manhattan and his Orthopedic Sports Medicine Fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Kerlan-Jobe Institute in Los Angeles. Dr. Zusmanovich has been published on topics from arthroplasty and joint reconstruction to hand surgery and hip arthroscopy.
While completing his fellowship in Los Angeles, Dr. Zusmanovich was the assistant team physician for the LA Galaxy, LA Angels, Anaheim Ducks, LA Sparks, and a variety of teams at Loyola Marymount University. He is an avid rugby player, a second-degree black belt in Take-Kwon Do and a 1st degree black belt in Hapkido.
He is a member of the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, and the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine, and is fluent in Russian.
