John Brennan, MD, received his medical degree from SUNY Health Science Center at Brooklyn after attending college at St. Louis University. He then performed a surgical internship at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center in Manhattan and followed with his orthopedic residency also at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center. During training, he completed rotations at Alfred I. DuPont Children’s Hospital in Delaware, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center as well as The Blackrock Clinic in Dublin, Ireland.

Dr. Cappellino, a Long Island native, grew up in New Hyde Park, New York. He was the No.1 football player in Nassau County in 1983 receiving the Tom Thorpe Award. Dr. Cappellino attended Yale University and participated all four years in football. He was awarded the Chester J. Laroche scholar-athlete award. He obtained his medical degree from SUNY Stony Brook with honors where he was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society in 1992. He received his orthopaedic residency training at Yale-New Haven Hospital where he served as Chief resident in his final year.

Dr. Morgan Chen is a board certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in the surgical treatment of the spine. He utilizes the newest and most minimally invasive procedures to correct disorders of the cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery at the College of Osteopathic Medicine at the New York Institute of Technology. Dr. Chen is a recognized leader in the field of spine surgery and often serves as faculty on courses to teach the newest surgical techniques. He is consistently honored with the Patient’s Choice Award, Compassionate Doctor Award and is recognized as a Top 10 Doctor by Vitals.

Dr. Christoforou graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from New York University in 2002 with a degree in history and biology. He subsequently earned his medical degree from the New York University School of Medicine with honors where he was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society in 2006. His post-graduate training included an internship in General Surgery at NYU Medical Center, followed by an orthopaedic surgical residency at the NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases in Manhattan, where he received the Chief Resident Teaching award. During that time he also served as a staff physician at Madison Square Garden, and as an assistant team physician for high school and local college sports teams.

Danielle DeGiorgio, DO, is a non-operative sports medicine physician. She is a native of Long Island, graduating from Longwood High School as a three-sport athlete. She attended Stony Brook University on a full athletic scholarship and served as captain of the women’s basketball team.

Dr. Harary earned his undergraduate degree in Movement Science from the University of Michigan in 1998. He went on to medical school at Ross University, where he graduated with honors in 2002. After obtaining his medical degree, Dr. Harary completed a family medicine residency at UPMC Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA. He then completed his fellowship training in Sports Medicine at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL. Dr. Harary is board certified in Sports Medicine and Family Medicine. He is a member of the American College of Sports Medicine, American Medical Society of Sports Medicine and the American Academy of Family Physicians.

A native Long Islander, Jeffrey Hart, DO, graduated magna cum laude from Quinnipiac University in 2004 and received his Doctor of Osteopathic (DO) from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. Maintaining his New York roots, Dr. Hart completed his orthopedic surgical residency at North Shore/LIJ Plainview Hospital, where he was Chief Resident. He completed a fellowship in adult reconstruction of the hip and knee at The Florida Orthopedic Institute in Tampa, Florida.

Dr. Jarit grew up in Wading River, NY and graduated from Shoreham-Wading River High School in 1994. He attended college at the University of Virginia and graduated With Distinction in 1998. He obtained his medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 2002, and then completed residency in orthopedic surgery at NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases in New York City in 2008. During his residency he completed an additional one-year research fellowship.

Dr. Mileto received his M.D. degree from New York Medical College in 2010, and then completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. Following his training in general orthopedics, he traveled to Phoenix, Arizona to complete a fellowship in adult reconstruction at the Hedley Orthopedic Institute. Under Dr. Anthony Hedley, a preeminent leader in the field of joint replacement surgery, Dr. Mileto performed some of the most complex primary and revision hip and knee surgeries. In addition he utilizes cutting edge techniques such as muscle sparing surgery, custom implant cutting guides, and robotics.

Dr. Petraco graduated cum laude from Yale University in 1988, after which he received his medical degree from Cornell University Medical College graduating with academic honors. Hayley Queller, MD was the first Primary Care Sports Medicine physician at St. Charles Orthopedics. In 2000, she completed an undergraduate degree in mathematics at Franklin & Marshall College where she was valedictorian of her class as well as a first team Academic All-American soccer player. She earned her medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in 2004 after which she completed a dual residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at the Christiana Care Health System in Delaware. She continued her training at Christiana Care by completing a fellowship in Primary Care Sports Medicine.

Dr. Subbaiah completed his residency in Neurosurgery at Harvard/Brigham and Women’s Hospital and subsequently completed a one year advanced fellowship in Endoscopic & Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery with Dr. Richard Fessler, a pioneer in this field who has treated athletes such as Peyton Manning and was the first surgeon to use human stem cells to surgically treat spinal cord injury patients.
