Radiology Technologists
Job Description
- Radiology Technologist - This position is responsible for operating X-ray equipment in an Orthopedic office setting and assists physicians with diagnosing and/or treating disease and/or injury. Associate's degree & current state licensing/certification are required. This position requires travel to each of our 7 office locations in Suffolk County.
- MRI Technologist - As an MRI technologist, you are asked to operate an MRI scanner and to ensure that the procedure produces quality images and information for the health care professional to make an accurate diagnosis. You have the chance to work and interact directly with patients as you ensure that they are comfortable and calm. Utilize your medical knowledge by interviewing patients, explaining the procedure and placing the patient comfortably and securely on the equipment. Technologists must also be organized, detail-oriented people who are familiar with the anatomical area that is being scanned and the patient’s history. Associate's degree & current state licensing/certification are required. This position is based in our East Setauket office.
