As a board-certified podiatrist, Dr. Mudasser Javed brings extensive expertise in treating complex foot and ankle conditions. With specialized training in reconstructive forefoot and rearfoot procedures, Dr. Javed offers comprehensive care for a range of issues including bunions, hammertoes, sports injuries, trauma, fractures, flat feet, arthritis, and ankle sprains.
Distinguished as one of the few foot and ankle surgeons on Long Island proficient in minimally invasive techniques, Dr. Javed excels in procedures such as bunionectomies, hammertoe corrections, and Achilles tendon repairs. His commitment to advancing surgical techniques ensures patients benefit from the latest innovations in podiatric care.
Dr. Javed earned his Bachelor of Science degree from SUNY New Paltz before pursuing his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed a rigorous three-year foot and ankle surgical residency at Good Samaritan University Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident in his final year.
Currently, Dr. Javed serves as the Podiatric Residency Director at Good Samaritan University Hospital, where he plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of podiatric medicine by overseeing residency training programs. Additionally, he serves as the Medical Director of Podiatric Services at St. Charles Wound Care, where he leads a multidisciplinary team in the treatment of various lower extremity wounds, leveraging advanced therapies including state-of-the-art hyperbaric chamber treatments.
Dr. Javed is an active member of the New York State Podiatric Medical Association and holds an Associate membership with the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, reflecting his commitment to professional excellence and ongoing education in the field of podiatry.
