This state-of-the-art facility gives OALI surgeons and their patients another option for out-patient procedures typically done in hospital settings.
As medical technology increases and minimally invasive surgery became more commonplace, ambulatory surgery centers offer streamlined services for low-risk procedures. ASCs have become an effective and safe alternative to surgery in a hospital setting and are often less costly. ASCs also offer a higher nurse-to-patient ratio, more efficiency, lower risks of hospital-based infection, and less waiting.
